BOARD MEMBER

Dr. Michelle Knopp is an Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

Dr. Knopp is a fellowship-trained clinical informaticist and internist with expertise in the use of electronic health record data, clinical decision support, and data-driven approaches to improving patient care and population health. Her work focuses on identifying patients who will benefit most from targeted interventions and leveraging health data to support care coordination and health system performance.

Dr. Knopp is engaged in research and operational initiatives that advance learning health systems, improve data integration across care settings, and enhance the practical use of health information in clinical workflows. She brings a strong methodological foundation in applied clinical informatics, including predictive analytics and health services research.

Dr. Knopp continues to see patients, providing her with firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities of using health information to support real-world care delivery.

As a member of the CliniSync Board of Directors, Dr. Knopp contributes expertise in clinical informatics and data interoperability to support the organization’s mission of improving healthcare quality, coordination, and outcomes across Ohio.
